Kimchee - High Holborn

I visited Kimchee a couple of days ago, as you enter the restaurant you feel a sense of calmness with a feng shui water fountain feature on your right.

I had four different dishes.

Chicken Bibimbap
This was a mixture of rice, vegetables, chicken and a raw egg yolk on a hot stone bowl. It did come with a sauce but I would have preferred a spicy sauce to mix into the dish.

Tofu Kimchi

This dish had spicy pork and Kimchi on top of fried tofu. As yummy was it was, it was too hot for me.. Brought tears to my eyes.

Chicken glass noodles
This was probably the best dish I had that night. It was delicious. The glass noodles were flavoured well along with some vegetables, egg and sesame seeds. I would definitely go again just to have this!

Chicken dish (I can't remember the name)
When I asked the waitress what she recommended, she suggested this dish. Some fried bits of chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce, reminded me a bit of Kung Po chicken but it was equally as tasty.

I would definitely visit Kimchee again, the prices weren't too bad, the atmosphere was very relaxed and the food.. Well I need to try more of their menu first :).

Til next time.
